“I live my life in widening circles”

                                       Rainer Maria Rilke

I live my life in widening circles

that reach out across the world.

I may not complete this last one

but I will give myself to it.

I circle around God, around the primordial tower.

I’ve been circling for thousands of years
and I still don’t know: am I a falcon,
a storm, or a great song?

There are times in our lives when there is something stirring inside us. We may not know what is occuring, but we know there is a shift in order. These are times that a mentor can help guide us.

My personal experience with mentors has been life-altering and permission-granting. As a woman, I needed someone to tell me it was "okay" to make changes, demand respect for myself, and reclaim the power I had given up so many years ago. Several men and women mentors have helped me walk through the most recent phases of my growth. Each had their own way of sharing wisdom, giving me a more solid foundation to build a life on.

Whether or not that story resonates in you, mentors are not there to tell us what to do. They guide, gently coach, and coax out of us what our truth really is. We often need and outside "mirror" of sorts to show us where we are to go; what our next step is. That is what I am most passionate about.

Our bodies innate knowing and wisdom is most readily accessed through our relationships with the natural world. When we learn to partner with a tree, a meadow, a watershed, or any landscape, we are given the images, the feelings, and strength we need to settle into that offered innate wisdom.

Please book a time to meet with me here to discuss how  we might work  together, widening your circles of joy and love:
